Networking can vary, but lately we've been in-between contracts so the server hasn't been getting hit hard. RAM usage has been known to spike high, but normally isn't any more than 6GB in use. Generally, the CPU is idle, as file server is the only role. Networking is a pair of Intel gigabit in 802.3ad. There are several network drives located on the server, split between the two arrays. The operating system is Windows Server 2008 圆4 (non-R2) with Service Pack 2. There are two RAID arrays, both RAID 6 - one is a direct-attach SAS unit with 8 x 2TB connected via a Dell SAS 5/e card, the other is an internal 8 x 1.5TB on an Areca PCI-Express card. The server has a dual core Celeron E3300 2.5 GHz and 8GB RAM. We have one primary file server that was built in-house.
